Dr. Brian Dena joined Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Petersburg in July of 2021 and assumed the role of medical director in February of 2025. He earned bachelor of science degrees in neurobiology and biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin and a master of science in medical sciences from The University of North Texas. He earned his medical degree in 2017 from The University of North Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then went on to complete internship and residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Virginia Commonwealth University and Sheltering Arms Institute.
