Melina Allen, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care to patients across the lifespan. She brings a strong clinical background in managing medically complex patients, along with extensive experience in both adult and pediatric care settings.
Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Melina worked as a registered nurse in adult and pediatric critical care. Her experience in high-acuity environments has shaped a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to care and allows her to manage both complex and routine health concerns with confidence.
Melina earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2013, followed by an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University in 2016. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2021.
She is passionate about preventive care, chronic disease management, and patient education. She is committed to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their healthcare decisions.
